Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy
The Institute of Informatics and Computing in Energy (IICE) is a specialized research centre at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) focusing on informatics and computing solutions for the energy sector. The Institute plays a key role in bridging the gap between academia, industry, and government agencies by providing advanced computing applications to address real-world energy challenges.
IICE emphasizes multi-disciplinary collaboration, combining expertise from computer science, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and energy systems. The Institute’s initiatives include research, consultancy, training, and capacity building, contributing to Malaysia’s energy sustainability and digital transformation agenda.
